Busy is good for people like us
Busy keeps the pull away that unravels
The sound of low bellows always distracting
A little ringing in my ear
Tapping your feet methodically
Tapping my fingers, restless
Busy is good for people like us
Who laugh a little too loud
Are happy and are sad
Feel intense joy until we think too much and chase it away
We are creative, we are kind
We are useless, we are ugly
We make beautiful music
Sometimes we sing off-key
You love your song and share it with everyone
I hate my poem and rip up the paper
You lie in bed for hours, staring at the ceiling listening to the same album on repeat
I run for miles and miles until I am so tired I can gratefully not feel anymore
